Very excited to be launching a new coloring book for adults. Whilst a deviation from children's books, I thought it was time to think about the parents. My daughter is always asking me to color in with her but when I try, she just wants me to watch. This way, I can have my own book and she can have hers but we can do it together. Win-Win!
Of course, it is believed that there are other benefits to adult coloring, these include: - improving mood;
- reducing anxiety and stress; and
- enhancing mindfulness
All good things, I say.
Beneath the Tranquil Sea contains 50 calming mandala sea animals and scenes on single-sided paper, keeping you entertained for hours and is available through Amazon. Enjoy!
Received my very first #1 Best Seller tag on Amazon today in the category of Baby & Toddler Sense & Sensation Books for Come Out Mr. Poo! - It is also number 1 in the same category. Never did I imagine this was possible when writing a book inspired by my own daughter's potty troubles and thought it might be worth putting out there to share with others. Thank you!
My daughter loves to color in and since spending more time at home, it is something I have encouraged (it also means less screen time). I did some research and yes, there seems to be
5 main benefits for kids when they participate in coloring.
Inspired my daughter and her love for all things unicorns, mermaids, and rainbows and the benefits of coloring, I decided to unleash my own creativity and create (with the help of a talented illustrator) a lovely coloring book containing 50 beautifully hand drawn images from easy to expert. Unicorns, Rainbows, Mermaids and More was made available on Amazon this week and I am thrilled to share this with you.
So if your child enjoys coloring then there are definitely some benefits in doing so and if you do end up checking out my new coloring book then I really hope you enjoy it.
If there are any other coloring topics/themes your child is interested in, please leave a comment below.
With Potty Time for Girls largely complete, it is time to turn my attention to Potty Time for Boys. The story, specifically for boys starting potty training, is written, reviewed and now it is time to illustrate. This is when the fun begins...
I found this blog post today about the best books for potty training for kids and to my surprise "Come Out Mr Poo!" was one of them. Thanks Hip2Poop
It's been a little while but my next book is almost complete. Given some feedback that "Come Out Mr Poo!" looks like it is only for boys, I have decided to dedicate a potty book to girls and one to boys. Potty Time for Girls is the perfect potty training companion for little girls getting ready to use the potty. Potty Time for Boys is currently being illustrated and will also be available soon. Stay Tuned.
